Summary: Porly designed map
Comment: I purchased this map for a recent trip to Bulgaria. The map is printed on both sides of a large (supposedly) waterproof sheet of paper. I planned to drive around the country and needed a map with more details than the maps printed in Lonely Planet or Rough Guide.
The first problem is that Sofia, the largest city is on the back side of the sheet. If you want to find roads in and around the city you have to open this cumbersome map and flip it over. Just folding it up was difficult
The front side of the map shows the eastern half of the country. If you are traveling over the edge of the map and have to flip it over the roads do not line up. For example a major east - west highway on one side is 4 or 5 inches higher on the sheet than on the other. Since there are few road numbers on the map you have to search all around to see where the roads show up. This might be acceptable if the area where the map ends is in the middle of nowhere. But a number of important towns are sliced apart by the design.
I also had ITMB's Romanian map and it was bad in its own way. Printed on one side of the sheet but with no map of Bucharest. At least the Bulgarian map had a plan of Sofia. I would not buy any of ITMB's maps in the future.
